Lives changed
Lebanon, has been experiencing an economic and social crisis of unprecedented magnitude since 2019. It was aggravated by the coronavirus pandemic and the trauma of the explosion at the port of Beirut on August 4, 2020 which left hundreds of thousands homeless and jobless. The sharp rise in prices since July 2019 has greatly affected their standard of living, especially knowing that, simultaneously, their incomes started collapsing. In addition, the microfinance sector has suffered greatly from the collapse of the banking sector.
The project offers a concrete solution to the lack of professional opportunities for the Lebanese. By supporting 350 entrepreneurs, the Hope Center is an effective incubator of micro-projects and also a symbol of hope, allowing people to live with dignity from their own work.
